Pre-School – Early Childhood (EC)
Play-Based Early Childhood Education in Singapore
At Swiss School in Singapore, our Early Childhood programme provides a nurturing environment where children learn, explore and grow through play-based learning and hands-on experiences. Our curriculum is designed to support each child’s cognitive, social, emotional and physical development while making learning engaging and enjoyable.
From creative activities and art projects to games, stories and sensory play, children learn through experiences that encourage curiosity, imagination and independence. Carefully selected, age-appropriate materials and thoughtfully prepared activities help children develop essential knowledge and skills while discovering the joy of learning.
Learning Through English and French
Until the age of four, our Early Childhood students are primarily taught in English, with French gradually introduced through playful and interactive activities. Children are naturally exposed to the languages through singing, storytelling, games, creative activities and everyday interactions.
This approach allows children to develop their language skills in a relaxed and engaging environment, while building confidence and a positive attitude towards learning languages from an early age.
Early Childhood Events
