Kindergarten 1 & 2 (1H/2H)

French Kindergarten in Singapore

Children aged four begin Kindergarten 1 (1H) at Swiss School in Singapore, followed by Kindergarten 2 (2H). Both years form part of the Swiss primary school cycle and prepare children for Grade 1 (3H). Our French-language Kindergarten programme introduces children to the independence and routines of school through playful, age-appropriate learning.

French is the main language of instruction, while English is taught five lessons per week, with additional support available to meet individual needs. The kindergarten programme includes weekly swimming, sports, early music education, library activities and outdoor play.

Throughout the year, children also take part in celebrations and school events such as Deepavali, Chinese New Year, Advent, project weeks and Sports & Play Day.

Kindergarten students can also join our Full Day Offer (FDO) and extracurricular activities from Monday to Friday, 1:45–3:20 PM. The FDO is offered as a language package: English on Mondays and Fridays and French from Tuesday to Thursday.

Students participating in afternoon programmes can also use our supervised lunch service.
