Science
Science is taught in English across our Primary School, giving students the opportunity to develop both their scientific understanding and English language skills through meaningful, hands-on learning.
At Swiss School in Singapore (SSiS), our Primary Science programme encourages students to explore, question and understand the world around them. The Science classroom is designed to stimulate curiosity about natural phenomena and everyday events while building a strong foundation of scientific knowledge.
Through practical experiments, observation, investigation and modelling, students learn how scientific ideas are developed and evaluated using evidence. This hands-on approach to Science education engages learners at different levels and encourages them to think critically, ask questions and develop their own explanations.
By connecting scientific concepts with practical experience, our students develop valuable skills for further learning and prepare for a smooth transition to United World College of South East Asia (UWCSEA) at a later stage.
