For two lessons per week, the students from Primary 1 to 6 successfully work on projects of their own. They independently organize their procedure, research and process information with expert support from their teachers, reflect on the procedure chosen and finally present their results. In applying project-based learning methods, they not only acquire important interdisciplinary competencies; but, are also able to follow their interests and talents proudly displaying work they have learnt.
Portfolio Work as a subject allows us to ensure that students experience meaningful learning by actively formulating goals, creating their own ideas and working out methods and solutions. Portfolio work is always taught by an English main teacher, together with the class teacher.
In Primary 5 and 6, ICT lessons are integrated into their Portfolio Work. For this very reason, the school provides laptops for each student.
