Master of Education
“Instruction does much, but encouragement everything. If you treat an individual as he is, he will remain how he is. But if you treat him as if he were what he ought to be and could be, he will become what he ought to be and could be.” (Johann Wolfgang von Goethe)
This is one of my most important educational principles – to strengthen all stakeholders in the school setting. Before coming to Singapore, I worked in Germany planning educational full-day courses and afterwards led the Primary Department of another Swiss School in Southeast Asia.
We are all privileged to work together at this charming, small school in the middle of Singaporean nature, while at the same time enjoying the strong Swiss Curriculum. Developing this culture further for our school is the core of my function and I look forward to doing this together.
