Bachelor of Arts in Pre-Primary and Primary Education
My name is Joséphine Boller and I am 35 years old.
I studied at the Pedagogical College in Fribourg and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Pre-Primary and Primary Education. Afterwards, I taught several classes and absolutely loved my teaching experiences.
As I had started teaching at a very young age, I wanted to broaden my horizons and learn new skills. Thus, I embarked on an accounting course, through which I honed my attention to detail, planning and administrative skills. These skills have enriched my daily life as well as my teaching abilities.
Here in Singapore, I have been teaching French as a Foreign Language. I have taught both private and group classes to students of all ages, from two-year-olds to adults. I am very happy and satisfied when I teach – it is what truly fills me with joy. Now, I am delighted and excited to be able to accompany and motivate students on their learning journey in the P3/4 (5H/6H) French Stream of the SSiS.
Apart from my work, I have been serving as Treasurer of SAS since March 2021, using my accounting skills to contribute to the Swiss community in Singapore. I love nature and outdoor activities like hiking, and care deeply about animals and environmental sustainability. Finally, I thoroughly enjoy reading, meditating and learning about diverse subjects such as personal development, because I firmly believe that learning is the best way to grow.
