Hello, everyone! My name is Vivian Steigner, and I am thrilled to be part of the Swiss School community.
My family and I originally come from Hamburg/Germany and are excited to live in the metropolis of Singapore.
I have already worked in various areas of education/social work and family welfare in Germany. I have been assigned to various schools as an academic coach and assistant teacher with children of all ages. During this time I focused on working with children with special needs, such as specializes in autistic disorders. With these knowledge acquired in the past, i am happy to incorporate it into my work current with the SSiS team.
My passion is creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment where children can thrive. I firmly believe that multilingualism is an advantage and I am committed to helping our children build solid language skills.
In kindergarten and in the playgroup, I attach great importance to targeted language support. Whether it’s strengthening vocabulary, practicing conversation skills, or exploring cultural nuances, I tailor my approach to each child’s individual needs. Through interactive activities, storytelling and games, we create a rich language learning experience.
In my free time I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I enjoy exploring exotic cultures, love good food and have a passion for painting, arts and crafts, and music.
